Analytics for the Automotive Industry

We are supporting the automotive industry with suitable analytics. Typical tests are:

• Compatibility tests of sensors or control units with various media
• Analysis of control units for contaminants using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), ion chromatography (IC)optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) oder mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
• Analysis of general organic residues/contaminants (lubricants, coolants, etc.) using  gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)
• Analysis of impurities that interfere with painting processes
• Failure analysis - usually using light microscopy and SEM-EDX
• Analysis of material compositions using optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) or SEM-EDX
• Testing of technical cleanliness in accordance with ISO 16232 / VDA 19
• Examination of fuel cell components, e.g. with SEM-EDX, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), ion chromatography (IC), optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) or mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
